Dr. Pardeep Dhillon

Dr. Pardeep Dhillon is the director of optometric services at Prime Optometry and serves several roles including consultative eye care, practice development and Board Member to the College of Optometrist of British Columbia. He is a 2004 graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry and subsequently completed a residency in ocular disease, refractive and ocular surgery at Eye Care Associates of Nevada. Prior to private practice, Dr. Dhillon served as head medical optometrist for Nationwide Visions’ Medical Eye Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Dhillon provides diagnosis and treatment for a number of conditions, including refractive (vision), amblyopia, strabismus, dry eye disease, ocular allergies, ocular infections, eye trauma, glaucoma and diabetes-related vision problems, as well as conducting evaluations for cataract surgery, refractive surgery and retinal disorders.
Dr. Dhillon and his wife Sukhi are proud to call Surrey their home. They have two boys, Arjan and Shaan. In their free time, they enjoy swimming, skiing, hanging rushing to hockey and spending time with their family and friends.

Dr. Jaskirn Gill

Optometrist

Dr. Jaskirn Gill was born and raised in Surrey, BC. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology and Biochemistry at Simon Fraser University. He received his Doctorate of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry in 2014.

Dr. Gill completed a private practice internship in Lantana, Florida where he gained valuable experience in contact lens and pediatrics. He also completed a rotation at the Lake City VAMC in Florida.

Dr. Gill’s areas of interest include pediatrics, contact lens, and primary care.

He is also fluent in Punjabi.

When Dr. Gill is not in the clinic, he enjoys playing soccer and hockey. He is an avid fan of Arsenal FC and the Vancouver Canucks.

Dr. Jaswinder S. Bains

Dr. Jaswinder Bains earned his Ph.D. in Biology from Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar, India in 1991. He moved to Calgary in 1992, and worked as research associate in the department of neuroscience, faculty of medicine, University of Calgary. Later, he worked as senior research associate at the department of Ophthalmology University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC. Dr. Bains transitioned to Optometry, after graduating from New England College of Optometry, Boston in 2001. He has worked as sub-lease Optometrist with Lens Crafters until July 2016.
